I totally want this apron for myself now. It's living the dream of properly installed D rings, custom embroidery and a spicy little ribbon belt. I mean, I'm sure the "J" doesn't hurt matters, but that's just an extra bonus.
Now, I know, I'm not usually a fan of pink but I AM a fan of green and this apron says "Palmetto" to me in the best way.
Love it.
So, anyway, like I was about to say, this month's winner is Mama Nose Best for her very sassy interpretation of the Modern Apron - seersucker and all. Which I didn't think I'd like, but well, there you go.

So, Donk, tell us already - what is the May/June project?

Congratulations! Sooo cute and preppy! Anything with a monogram gets a big thumbs up from me. Won't you look cute serving 'tinis to your madras-clad guests. I think you got bonus points for being able to tie a perfect bow, too :)
ReplyDeleteMy project this month is still reveling in its hideousness in my sewing room. How I could screw up such a simple project escapes me. It will probably make cute dust rags though...
Gah! The rings. Do you think she'd do a tutorial? I need to learn that. LOVE this apron. Nice choice, my friend. New project post going up now. The only hint I'll give is: wrap her up.
ReplyDeleteThat apron is sooo cute and with so many "J's" in this group, we were all loving the monogram. Let's see, Thistledew and I are both 'Jan', and there's Jessica, June and most obviously Mama Nose Best is a "J" as well.Of course I was totally lame and didn't make this project, but all of the ones that were made were beautiful and unique. A well deserved winner indeed!
