Chipmunks were his main target, but he also strayed to anything that would get into his garden. He killed chipmunks but stung most everything else to warn them away. Including the neighbors dog who would poop in our yard. He shot him right in the buttocks!

Can't you embrace just a red rider bb gun? Seriously - that looks like it's gonna be a niiiice one!

You had me literally LOL with the 'coon-poo! Yuck.

So you're pretty confident he's not gonna come back and do bad things in your garden again just after you've re-planted? I think you should just tell Jada she's gonna have to live out in the backyard until harvesting is all done with for the year - have her scare the critters off!Jephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02843262392217281569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15363790.post-77496125234532389072009-05-13T10:05:00.000-07:002009-05-13T10:05:00.000-07:00Your garden looks great despite the demise and des...Your garden looks great despite the demise and destruction wreaked by the Bastard Raccoon. Yesterday I discovered a Bitch Rabbit eating my veggies. Counselling said rabbit about the good purpose of feeding the hungry to which my bounty is meant doesn't seem to do any good. I shall have to reinforce my garden defenses against Bitch Rabbit.Junie Moonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08561131734782279400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15363790.post-83774602719737348912009-05-13T05:02:00.000-07:002009-05-13T05:02:00.000-07:00We embrace firearms. It seems to work.

That is one impressive tomato bush. I'm embarrassed by my wee plants now. But I'm still going to put them in the ground today.Kristin @ Going Countryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00221544641416039741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15363790.post-6716016692569351932009-05-12T17:45:00.000-07:002009-05-12T17:45:00.000-07:00Your garden is looking good...in some cases, and s...Your garden is looking good...in some cases, and sorry bout the other stuff. My eyes got really big when I looked at your artichoke. That is one vegetable I was able to grow and I don't even have one in my backyard. Silly me. I'm thinking it's because I don't like a side of earwigs/pincherbugs with my chokes and I don't know how to get rid of those bugs. Yech on them!
My tomatoes are still alive in spite of me forgetting I own any! I guess it's good that we get fog here, at least the tomatoes get a drip of water from time to time.claudiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16572555442321120647noreply@blogger.com
